Water Reactive, Hydrophobic Polyurethane Injection Grout.   Description:- ShaliGrout® PU 2K 20 is a hydrophobic, solvent and phthalate free, water reactive polyurethane reaction system. It will react only when it comes in contact with water and would form relatively stiff PU foam and would stop leakage. ShaliGrout® PU 2K 20 is a single component product with an additional catalyst to adjust time as per ambient condition and practical situation.   Advantages:-  • Suitable for contact with potable water and also reacts with sea water, mineral water, etc. • Short gel time forms highly tough, resilient and non-toxic gel. • Suitable for hot and cold climates • Good adhesion to substrates and can withstand high hydrostatic pressures • Applicable with electric and pneumatic injection pumps.  Application:- • Rapid sealing of leaking cracks in concrete structures as a temporary water stop. • For heavy water leakages the system can be catalyzed to achieve very short gel time to reduce flow of water. • Leaks from large and small caliber sewer pipes, concrete crack and expansion joints. Application Methodology:-  • Drill holes at 45°C angle to intersect the crack approx 4” below concrete surface. Drill holes alternately on opposite sides of the cracks allowing 8” distance. • Pour the content of part A in a clean dry, plastic bucket. • Add the required quantity of Catalyst after referring the above table for gel time and cream time. • Mix thoroughly by hand or low speed stirrer for about half a minute until the mix is homogeneous • Inject ShaliGrout® PU 2K 20 using a standard injection machine having a covered reservoir to avoid moisture coming into the mix. • The injection pressure should be at least 4 bar.• Inject the packers sequentially, on a vertical crack start the injection from the lowest packer and continue to the next packer etc. • Remove excess ShaliGrout® PU 2K 20 from surface by using sharp knife when product has stopped foaming.

2K Gun Grade UV Resistant Polysulphide Sealant. Description :- ShaliSeal® PS GG is two component, polysulphide polymer based, UV resistant, flexible, tear resistant, rubbery, self-leveling, gun grade, non-staining sealant, which adheres to most of building materials like cementitious substrates, aluminum, glass, wood, mild steel etc. ShaliSeal® PS GG cures at ambient temperature, has excellent recovery characteristics after extended period of compression / elongation with outstanding resistance to most chemicals, weather conditions, aging and shrinkage. It conforms to BS 5212: 1990 Part I -Type F & Type FB (Flame and Fuel Resistant), IS 12118 Part 1 – 1987, BS:4254 and ASTM C 920.   Application :- • Expansion joints in industrial, commercial or residential buildings. • Joints in concrete roads, bridges, subways, flyovers & airport runway. • Joints in water retaining structures like water tank, swimming pool including decks, aqua ducts, dams, canals & reservoirs. • Nuclear Power station reactor domes. • Joints between concrete pipe lines. • Roof light joints.    Advantages :- • Excellent UV resistant. • Provides uniform, water tight seal. • Adhesion compatible to most substrate. • Highly resilient with excellent recovery characteristics and thermal flexibility. • Prevents cracking by allowing expansion / contraction during atmospheric changes. • Flexible, tear resistant, rubbery, self-leveling. • Chemical / flame / fuel resistant. • After full cure ▪ Can withstand in fully submerged condition, and ▪ The Sealant is suitable for potable water as well.     Application Methodology :- ➢ Surface Preparation • Remove all loose gravel, dirt, oil, grease and foreign matter by jet of dry air and clean the surface mechanically or by grinding to make it smooth before application. • Ensure that the moisture content in the prepared surface does not exceed 5% immediately before application of ShaliSeal® PS GG. • To avoid adhesion of spill-over material beside joint, use masking tape at floor level beside both sides to get sharp edged neat and clean joint. • Use back up material to avoid third face adhesion and to avoid contact between joint forming board & sealant. • Use primer on vertical side faces of the joint to ensure strong bonding between substrate and sealant. ➢ Material Preparation:-  • Mix the entire quantity of Base and Accelerator compounds, which are pre-weighed, thoroughly to a homogenous and uniform grey compound by a slow speed mixture (approx. 400 rpm) fitted with a suitable mixing paddle. • Ensure that there is no entrapped air. ➢ Application of Material :- • Ensure depth of the joint does not exceed its width. • Start applying the prepared mixer with Gun after 30 minutes of mixing on tacky primed surface. Use backup rod to adjust depth suitably. • Do not use ShaliSeal® PS GG in grooves exceeding 50 mm in width.

ShaliSBR Latex is an emulsion of single component styrene butadiene co-polymer based latex specially developed to improve the properties of cementations compositions. It is fully soluble in water and is to be added directly to the gauging water of slurry / mortar / concrete / grout. Mortars produced with ShaliSBR Latex may be used for horizontal, vertical and overhead repair work. It is used with cement to produce a waterproofing membrane for concrete structures

Acrylic Polymer Coating. ShaliCrete® is a multifunctional acrylic polymer for enhancing properties of concrete, mortar, grout, cement slurry etc. through better bonding, waterproofing and improvement in several other properties. ShaliCrete® is used for permanently bonding plaster to ensure durable finish of exterior walls, bonding new concrete to old concrete, making mortar for repairing and for waterproofing. ShaliCrete® is highly durable in wet condition as well.     Application :- • Toilets, sunken slabs, kitchen, sewers, aquariums and terrariums. • Repairing walls, planters and small concrete terraces. • Durable and aesthetic exterior finish with cement paint. • Repair mortar for precast structural concrete members, toppings, patches, cracks, etc. Advantages :- • Easy to use. • Improves bond strength, facilitating tough and hard wearing surface. • Allows trapped vapour to escape thus preventing peeling / blistering. • Reduces cracking through increased mortar flexural strength. • Increases mortar, wears resistance under rubber wheeled traffic. • Increases mortar tensile strength. • Offers greater impact resistance. • Reduces permeability. • Non-flammable and does not give toxic gases when exposed to fire. • Not harmful to the health of the workman.   Application Methodology :- A. Surface Preparation • Ensure that structure is at least 3 days old, sound and free from dirt, soil, oil release agents, laitance and any other foreign materials which may impair the bond, penetration and / or the overall performance of ShaliCrete®. Do not etch with acid. • Remove chemically any efflorescence, form oil, mould etc. • Ensure to fill cracks / honeycombs / holes / faulty construction joints with mortar made of ShaliCrete®, cement and super fine sand in the ratio 1 : 2 : 3 and allow it to touch dry. • Pre-wet / dampen all prepared concrete surface before application of ShaliCrete®. Do not allow standing water. B. Slurry Preparation :- • Mix ShaliCrete® with neat cement in the ratio as shown in table below till obtaining homogeneous, lump free mixture with better brushable consistency:         C. Waterproofing Compound:-  • Apply ShaliCrete® slurry by brush on the surface. Apply two or more coats depending on thesurface condition. • Ensure time interval of 5 -6 hrs. between two coats. • Do not apply slurry coat on standing water. • After 6 hrs. of air drying the coated surface should be cured by means of spraying water for next 24 hrs. Do not leave coated surface dry during this period. Do not allow the coated surface to be submerged under water during this period. • Allow to dry for 24 hrs. after moist curing. Do not apply water through a hose or pressurized nozzle. D. Bonding Agent :- • Bond coat with a mixing ratio of 1:2 (one part of ShaliCrete® and two parts of cement). • The applied bonding agent should be in tacky condition before topping with new concrete. E. Repair Mortar • Bond coat with a mixing ratio of 1:2 (one part of ShaliCrete® and two parts of cement) • Repair Mortar with a mixing ratio of 1:2:5 (one part of ShaliCrete®, two parts of cement and five part of sand) applied in specified area. • After the application of Repair Mortar to keep the surface moist for 12 - 24 hrs

ShaliSeal® PU is single component Polyurethane elastomeric sealant. ShaliSeal® PU resists crack arising out of movements of joint materials. It conforms to BS 6920.

ShaliUrethane® BTD is high performance, water based, cold applied, single component elastomeric insitu liquid membrane for waterproofing usually produced in White / Terracotta / Green colour. It may also be supplied in Black colour against specific orders.ShaliUrethane® BTD is UV resistant. However, for better UV resistance, we recommend use of White colour BTD, having SRI Index >109, thus facilitating considerable saving in energy. ShaliUrethane® BTD forms a seamless monolithic membrane and can be applied on moist surface. It conforms to ASTM C 836 and ASTM D 6083-97a. Use Horizontal / Vertical grades for horizontal / vertical application respectively.

Description ShaliRustOff® is chloride and sulphate free liquid rust remover. It effectively removes rust from steel surfaces. Preferably, ShaliRustOff is applied before application of any protective coating.

ShaliTex® Primer is a solvent based bituminous primer that seals pores in surfaces such as concrete and improves the adhesion of bituminous materials that are to be applied to the substrate. It is suitable for brush or spray application. 

Extruded Polystyrene Thermal Insulation.   Description:-  ShaliXPS extruded polystyrene rigid board is a high-performance insulation material with a proven track record facilitating considerable saving of electricity, thus facilitating green building concept.    ShaliXPS  can be used widely for various climatic conditions. It has been successfully used for a varied range of temperature and under high humid condition in various part of the country. ShaliXPS  has a high compressive strength to enable it to use it for over deck, floor, machine / plant room, etc.     The high thermal resistance property of ShaliXPS® is a result of arresting / millions of tiny closed air cell separated from each other in a unit block. ShaliXPS is having a skin formed on top and bottom faces facilitating protection and providing excellent barrier to absorption of water, moisture, dew. ShaliXPS keeps its R (Resistivity or Resistance to heat flow) value retained even after its long exposure to high humidity, ground water, freeze thaw cycle and other extreme climatic conditions. It conforms to ASTM C 578 - Type IV.            Application:-  • Thermal insulation of roof / terrace / exterior walls / underdeck / cold storages / auditorium in commercial / residential buildings and plant room. • Protection of waterproofing layer for retaining walls / other areas.     Advantages:- • Preferred thermal insulation material for Green Buildings. • Can be used for different kind of areas in the building like roof, walls, floors. It is also used for roofs with different shapes, size, construction materials. • Completely closed cell structure. • Resistant to moisture, and water absorption. • High Thermal Resistance. • Excellent compressive strength. • Dimensionally stable. • Does not age and rot. • Fire Retardant. • Reusable and can be recycled. • Light weight and durable. • Easy to cut handle and install. • Resistant to freeze thaw cycle.     Application Methodology:-  • Clean surface with broom / wire brush to remove all loose dust dirt and any other foreign materials. • In case of conventional roofing system, ShaliXPS® shall be laid on the roof surface by adhering with CPRX Compound. • Membrane like PVC, TPO and EPDM shall be laid over ShaliXPS® as a waterproofing layer. • In case of trafficable roof, membrane shall be protected with a suitable finish to avoid damage. • In case of invertible roofing system, Lay ShaliXPS® over Polymer Modified Bituminous Membrane and other waterproofing system by adhering the ShaliXPS® slabs to be laid only on perimeter. Use CPRX Compound or double side bituminous adhesive tapes. • Rest of the roof area shall be covered with ShaliXPS® slabs by simply laying it free over the membrane/waterproofing system. • In case the roof is not covered totally on the same day, the last row of ShaliXPS® shall be fully adhered with CPRX Compound to ensure no displacement of the ShaliXPS® slab. • A layer of Geo-textile of 150 / 200 GSM shall be loosely laid with an overlap of 50 mm and all overlap joints shall be sealed totally with an adhesive. • Finally, a suitable protection of PCC or tiles either loosely laid or fixed with a cement mortar bed shall be applied.

Non-Shrink Polymer Modified Fiber Reinforced Mortar. Description :- ShaliFix® FRM 50 (formerly known as ShaliFix FRM 90) is a single component, polymer modified, smooth finish, ready mix dry powder with low rebound, better compressive strength and facilitating painting after 24 hrs. ShaliFix® FRM 50 consisting of select fibers, requiring just addition of clean water to produce a highly consistent fiber reinforced mortar for structural and load bearing repairs.    Application:-  ShaliFix® FRM 50 is suitable for single layer hi-build finish for variety of repair applications including overhead repairs, like, • Mass infill to large areas. • Plastering over factory made pre-cast bricks. • Repair of, § Surface stripping and eroded surface. § Irregular profiles. § Fire-damaged concrete. § Pillars, columns, girders. Advantages:-  • Smooth Surface with 50 MPa compressive strength, also facilitating painting in 24 hrs. • Very low rebound loss. • Easy to use, single layer hi-build application, ideal for vertical / horizontal structural repairs • Cost effective. • Shrinkage control enables repairs to be completed properly in the very first application. • Enhances durability. Application Methodology:-  Ø Surface Preparation § For Reinforcement • Clean all exposed reinforcement. Ensure back of rebar is also clean. • Where reinforcing bars are corroded, cut back the concrete to at least 20 mm behind the reinforcing bars. Grit blast to remove corrosion products from around reinforcing bars and coat with ShaliPrime® Zn R / ShaliPrime® Zn Ph to protect rebars from corrosion. • Replace the affected part of rebar if the diameter after grit blasting is found reduced by more than 20% of the original diameter. § For Concrete / Plaster • Remove all loose traces of concrete or mortar, dust grease oil, etc. • Remove damaged or contaminated concrete to obtain a keyed aggregate exposed surface. • Non-impact vibrating cleaning method, e.g., grit or high-pressure water blasting is recommended. Cut the edges of the repair vertically. • For high absorbent surface, use ShaliPrime® WB for better adhesion.      Ø Material Preparation:- • Mix ShaliFix® FRM 50 with a low-speed mixer for 3 minutes until a lump free, thixotropicconsistency is achieved. • Use clean water @ 6.5 - 7.0 L / bag of ShaliFix® FRM 50. • Allow the mortar to rest for 2 - 3 minutes and then remix briefly before applying. • If the ambient temperature is more than 40°C, use cold water for mixing. Ø Application of Material :- • Preferably apply prepared ShaliFix® FRM 50 when the ambient temperature in the rangeof 10°C to 40°C. • Ensure that, § Prepared substrate is pre-soaked before applying ShaliFix® FRM 50. § Surface is saturated surface dry, but without standing water. • Apply ShaliFix® FRM 50 by spud / trowel. Apply mix product directly to the prepared dampsubstrate, or wet on wet onto the primed surface. • A thin scrape coat or contact layer before building up to the required thickness, wet on wet,will improve adhesion. • Apply to the desired layer thickness of 3 to 35 mm and level using a screeding bar, trowelor wooden board. • Apply ShaliFix® FRM 50 in thicker layers in smaller patches or where additional reinforcement is present. • Smoothing with a trowel or finishing by float or sponge can be done as soon as the mortarbegun to stiffen. • Do not apply ShaliFix® FRM 50 in standing water.

Modified SBR Latex Based URP For Bonding, Repair & Concrete Rendering.    :- Description:-  ShaliCrete URP is a multipurpose, ready to use, economical SBR based bonding agent in liquid consistency used as universal repair product (URP), for bonding coat for concrete, repair additive for concrete / mortars, waterproofing applications, protective coating for cementitious substrates, cladding including tiles / marble bedding and external rendering, besides improving strength and weather resistance.   Application :-  • Repair & Rehabilitation of concrete. • Waterproofing mortars / concretes including terrace, toilets, chajjas, lift pits, balconies, masonry walls and slopping RCC roofs. • Bedding for tiles / marbles. • Bonding slurry. • External rendering. • General reconstruction work and latex modified overlays and topping. Application Methodology:-  • Ensure that concrete is 3 days old if ShaliCrete URP is used as a slurry bond coat. Do not place slurry coat on standing water. • Ensure that the concrete is clean and rough. Remove all oil, dirt, debris, paint and unsound concrete. • The surface must be prepared mechanically using a scrubber, bush hammer, shot blast or scarifier. which will give a surface profile of a minimum 3 mm and expose the large aggregate of the concrete. • Use vacuum cleaner or pressure washing to ensure thorough cleaning and removal of all residue. • Ensure all concrete possess an open surface texture with all curing compounds and sealers removed. • Pre-wet all areas to reduce moisture loss. Do not place product on standing water. • To ensure durability and quality of repair or overlay, follow proper curing procedures. Maintain moist cure for 24 – 72 hrs to prevent surface cracking, Note  : Follow mixing using drill machine fitted with paddle or small mixer machine. Place the topping on the slurry coat before the slurry coat dries out On large floor areas, use screed strips as guides in combination with vibratory screeding to level. Compact and finish by hand or machine trowel. Slurry Application: Spread the slurry with a stiff bristle broom until the suggested coverage rate is achieved.

TarFelt® LM is water based, cold applied, single component, elastomeric in-situ seamless monolithic coating. This unique system is ready to use acrylic modified bituminous liquid membrane. Application • Corrugated asbestos / metal / non-galvanized corrugated tin roofs. • Sunken. • Rejuvenation of existing bituminous membrane – Hessian / HMHDPE based membrane. • Residential terraces (flat / slope) in substitution of hessian / HMHDPE based membrane. Waterproofing Application • Slightly damp the surface. Avoid standing water / ponding. • Prime the surface with a mixture of TarFelt® LM and potable water in the ratio of 50 : 50 and apply @ 400 gm / m² of the mixture and allow it to touch dry. • Apply first coat of TarFelt® LM @ 0.70 kg / m² by brush / roller / airless spray while the primed surface is tacky. For faster and smoother application, airless spray is preferred. • Spread fiber glass net of 45 GSM with overlaps of 50 mm in both directions when thesurface is still tacky. • Allow 1 st coat to dry for 10 - 12 hr. • Apply second coat of TarFelt® LM @ 0.70 kg / m² by brush / roller / airless spray for final DFT of 1000 microns in two coats inclusive of fiber glass of 45 GSM (theoretical coverage depending on surface conditions). • Sprinkle sand @ 200 gm / m² over the final vertical coating when the surface is still tacky to facilitate plastering. • Ensure final curing time of 36 hrs. before allowing / carrying out any further work. • Conduct ponding test after 7 days of curing at ambient temperature
