Dr. Fixit Prebond membrane is a preformed HDPE fully bonded membrane that bonds to the wet concrete cast on the membrane. Reinforcement can be directly laid on top of the membrane and it does not require screed protection. Dr. Fixit Prebond is a unique HDPE membrane comprising of a virgin HDPE layer and a pressure sensitive adhesive layer which is covered by a weather proof protective layer. CEMENTITIOUS BED GROUTING SURFACE PREPERATION. The areas that requires grouting should be prepared thoroughly, Remove dirt, dust, loos particles & coating. Make the surface SSD condition for at least 24 hrs. Remove excess water.  3 APPLICATION:-  £ Pour the mixed grout over prepared SSD surface, allow it to cure for 24 hrs before curing with wet hessian cloth / apply Dr Fixit Curing Compound. Precautions & Limitations:-  Number of holes and diameter to be decided at site £ Grouting pressure should be adjusted at site depending upon the nature of problem and thickness of structural member £ Properly seal the nozzles, with suitable adhesive / sealant / polymer modified mortar. £ Do not dilute the injection grout with more water, it will reduce the strength.

The surface needs to be clean, dry and sound, free of any contamination, which may harmfully affect the adhesion of the membrane. Maximum moisture content should not exceed 5%. Substrate compressive strength should be at least 25 MPa, cohesive bond strength at least 1.5 MPa. New concrete structures need to dry for at least 28 days. Old, loose coatings, dirt, fats, oils, organic substances and dust need to be removed by a grinding machine. Possible surface irregularities need to be smoothened. Any loose surface pieces and grinding dust need to be thoroughly removed. WARNING: Do not wash surface with water. REPAIR OF CRACKS AND JOINTS:- The careful sealing of existing cracks and joints before the application is extremely important for long lasting waterproofing results.Clean concrete cracks and hairline cracks, of dust, residue or other contamination. Prime locally with the Dr. Fixit Primer PU or Dr. Fixit Pidipoxy MIEP and allow 2-3 hours to dry. Fill all prepared cracks with Dr. Fixit PU sealant. Then apply a layer of Dr. Fixit Flexi PU 270(I), 200 mm wide centered over all large cracks and while wet, cover with a correct cut stripe of the Geotextile Fabric. Press it to soak. Then saturate the Geotextile Fabric with enough Dr. Fixit Flexi PU 270(I), until it is fully covered. Allow 12 hours to cure. Clean concrete expansion joints and control joints of dust, residue or other contamination. Widen and deepen joints (cut open) if necessary. The prepared movement joint should have a depth of 10-15 mm. The width: depth ratio of the movement joint should be at a rate of approx. 2:1.

It may be necessary to add a fungicide to remove heavy accumulations of fungi and algae. } Power wash at minimum 2000 psi, Prepare the surface thoroughly by cleaning, washing and removing dust, dirt, oil, grease and loose particles. } Bitumen based waterproofing treatments if existing, must be completely removed by mechanical scarification or by any other effective mechanical means. 2 THE STEPWISE REPAIR WORKS OF RECTIFYING WATER LEAKAGES AND BEAUTIFYING THE OLD METAL ROOF ARE AS FOLLOWS: } Stripped, loose or missing fasteners should be replaced with the next larger diameter fastener size. } Unsound rust should be scraped, wire brushed or sand blasted to remove all loose rust.  } Panels that are rusted to the point where their structural integrity may be compromised should be replaced with new panels to match the existing. } Remove all Bitumen based patching and flashing materials by any other effective mechanical means. } Remove all silicone caulks and sealants. } All metal surfaces to receive the Dr. Fixit Cool Roof Coating must be thoroughly cleaned and dry prior to application. } Rust treatment with rust remover on the affected corroded areas, as required and needed. } Replacement of roof fasteners, flashings and capping, as required and needed. } Sealing up of all lapping joints, gaps, flashing and capping with Non-Woven Geotextile Fleece Membrane and Cool Roof Coating. } All joints seems and fasteners shell be sealed with liberal amount of coating with Dr. Fixit Cool Roof Coating reinforcing with 40 to 50 GSM polyester fabric mesh or Non-Woven Geotextile Fleece fabric / seam tape sandwich between coats of Dr. Fixit Cool Roof Coating. } Cut desired length of fabric mesh or seam tape press down firmly with pad, finger pressure or roller making sure fabric stays conforming to the roof surface as you smooth out on to the surface. Dr. Fixit Bathseal Select is a ready-to-use; liquid-applied elastomeric water based waterproof coating. That curesto form a monolithic membrane designed for wet areas under tiled finish application. Being a 1K liquid appliedcoating, it reduces mixing errors and saves time due to excellent flow properties and thereby easy application withroller or brush. It is fully compatible with polymer modified cement based tiles adhesives, screeds and renders.

ONE-PART NON-SAG POLYURETHANE SEALANT. Description:- Dr. Fixit PU Sealant is a one-part Polyurethane Sealant composed of polyurethane polymer, pigment, filler & additives. It is used for filling and sealing joints in buildings & structures. It is highly elastic & resilient; weather durable, none sagging, watertight with excellent adhesion to almost all building construction materials. It can be over coated. Standard ASTM C-920, Type S, Grade NS, Class 25, Use; NT, T, A, and M DIN EN ISO 11600 – Type F – Classification 25 LM. Area of Application:- Sealing of expansion and construction joints as well as joints between different construction materials in high-rise buildings, base    ments and Floorings etc.  Sealing joints in between precast concrete panels.  Sealing Joints in between tiles, bricks, and marble etc.  Sealing joints of metal container finishing.  Repairing of non-moving concrete Cracks and control widths.  Perimeter pointing & curtain wall ceiling. Method of Application:- 1. Joint Preparation:  Joint edges should be sound and free from grease or oil contaminations. if spelled, it should be rectified properly by using polymer mortar or epoxy mortar.  Use a closed cell Dr.Fixit Backing Rod as a back up material. Back up material is used to adjust width to depth ratio and falling of sealant while application. Ex: thermocol sheet can be used as a back up material.  Fix a bond breaker tape over the backup material to prevent third surface adhesion.  Fix a masking tape on both sides of joint surface to get neat & clean appearance of joints after application of sealant. 2. Application:-  Dr.Fixit PU Sealant is available in 600 ml sausages & 300 ml cartridge. Insert the sausage in hand operated application gun. Apply nominal pressure over the trigger of the gun so that sealant starts extruding out of the nozzle & fill the sealant in joints. Apply slightly in excess for tooling & finishing purpose.  Precautions & Limitations :-  Maximum width for application in a joint is 50 mm.  Minimum depth of seal is 6 mm.  Do not expose the sealant to high temperatures.  Avoid application on damp and moist substrates and at Temperature below 5°C.  Sealant will not adhere to substrates with contamination and traces of bitumen.  Adhesion of the sealant must only be on two opposite faces.  Do not carry out sealing operations during hot weather conditions.  Use of shalitex board as a back up material should be avoided.  Application to be started only after 30 minutes of priming the substrate.  White grade, May slightly yellow on exposure to UV light. Rate of Uses:-  Total Number of liters required* = Joint width (mm.) x Joint depth (mm.)x Joint length (m.) 1000 * Wastage is not considered.  Joint design:-   For various reasons, different types of joints are provided with width depth ratios in different proportions. Depending on the horizontal or vertical movements, the cured sealant should retain its original shape after the deformation of expansion/contraction. So width depth ratio is important.

It is used for bonding of structural concrete new to old concrete and bonding agent for bricks and steel components because it gives excellent bonding properties to freshly mixed concrete/mortars, glazed bricks, tiles, etc. Areas of Application:-} Bonding agent for bonding of old to new concrete / mortar. } To extend or repair structural concrete. } Bonding agent of glazed brick, tiles, steel & structural members. Remove all loose particles, dirt, dust, laitance, and mould release agents, curing compounds, oils, grease, floor hardeners and any waterproofing materials for best results. } Remove laitance, dirt and dust by mechanical scarification such as wire brushing, scrapping, scabling or grit blasting. } Clean the dust by pressurized air or by washing with water. } Oil and grease should be removed by degreasing with solvents like turpentine or thinners. } Visible signs of mould growth should be removed & treated with a fungicidal solutions } New concrete must be cured completely.   
3 APPLICATION } Mixed material should be brushed applied on the prepared surface. } Overlay of concrete / mortar has to be placed on Dr. Fixit Epoxy Bonding Agent when it is tacky. } In case Dr. Fixit Epoxy Bonding Agent has dried, apply a 2nd coat before placing the concrete / mortar. Precautions & Limitations } Dr. Fixit Epoxy Bonding Agent should be applied on old concrete surface. } Before Dr. Fixit Epoxy Bonding Agent get tack free, apply new concrete or mortar. } If applied coating gets fully dry then apply 2nd coat over it.

Dr. Fixit PU Sealant is a one-part Polyurethane Sealant composed of polyurethane polymer, pigment, filler & additives. It is used for filling and sealing joints in buildings & structures. It is highly elastic & resilient; weather durable, none sagging, watertight with excellent adhesion to almost all building construction materials. It can be over coated.   Area of Application:- Sealing of expansion and construction joints as well as joints between different construction materials in high-rise buildings, basements and Floorings etc.  Sealing joints in between precast concrete panels.  Sealing Joints in between tiles, bricks, and marble etc.  Sealing joints of metal container finishing.  Repairing of non-moving concrete Cracks and control widths.  Perimeter pointing & curtain wall ceiling. Joint design:-   For various reasons, different types of joints are provided with width depth ratios in different proportions. Depending on the horizontal or vertical movements, the cured sealant should retain its original shape after the deformation of expansion/contraction. So width depth ratio is important.    Method of Application:-  1. Joint Preparation:  Joint edges should be sound and free from grease or oil contaminations. if spelled, it should be rectified properly by using polymer mortar or epoxy mortar.  Use a closed cell Dr.Fixit Backing Rod as a back up material. Back up material is used to adjust width to depth ratio and falling of sealant while application. Ex: thermocol sheet can be used as a back up material.  Fix a bond breaker tape over the backup material to prevent third surface adhesion.  Fix a masking tape on both sides of joint surface to get neat & clean appearance of joints after application of sealant.     2. Application:-  Dr.Fixit PU Sealant is available in 600 ml sausages & 300 ml cartridge. Insert the sausage in hand operated application gun. Apply nominal pressure over the trigger of the gun so that sealant starts extruding out of the nozzle & fill the sealant in joints. Apply slightly in excess for tooling & finishing purpose.  Precautions & Limitations:-  Maximum width for application in a joint is 50 mm.  Minimum depth of seal is 6 mm.  Do not expose the sealant to high temperatures.  Avoid application on damp and moist substrates and at Temperature below 5°C.  Sealant will not adhere to substrates with contamination and traces of bitumen.  Adhesion of the sealant must only be on two opposite faces.  Do not carry out sealing operations during hot weather conditions.  Use of shalitex board as a back up material should be avoided.  Application to be started only after 30 minutes of priming the substrate.  White grade, May slightly yellow on exposure to UV light.

SmartCare Repair Mortar
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:- Asian Paints SmartCare Repair Mortar is a ready to use single component polymer modified repair mortar. It is specially designed for repairs of RCC members like beams, columns and slabs because of its good compressive strength and shrinkage resistance. It is pre-blended with special additives which provides it excellent workability and adhesion to host concrete/masonry surfaces.   PRODUCT FEATURES   Easy to use: Single component ready to use powder which only requires addition of water at site Shrinkage compensation: Dual shrinkage compensated and hence crack resistant Bonding: Excellent bond strength to concrete and other masonry substrates Strength: Develops high initial and ultimate compressive strength Thickness: Suitable for repair of thickness up to 50 mm (maximum thickness in a single coat: 25 mm).    RECOMMENDED USAGE:-  Repair of damaged beams, columns and other RCC members Patch repair of PCC and other non-reinforced masonry surfaces.  APPLICATION PROCESS:- SURFACE PREPARATION  Surface should be completely free of laitance, oil, dust, grease, plaster, paint, corrosion etc. Smooth surface should be mechanically roughened by scrabbling or needle gun to form a good key. Edges of the areas for repair must be saw cut to 12 mm to avoid feather edging. The substrate should be thoroughly soaked with clean water and any excess should be removed. Apply bonding agent if required.  MIXING & APPLICATION SmartCare Repair Mortar must be mixed with a slow speed drill (500 rpm) fitted with a spiral paddle. Mix 25 kg of powder in 4.75 litres of clean & potable water (19+/-1% of the weight of powder, i.e., 4.5 to 5 litres). Always put powder in to water. Mix for at least 3 minutes for lump free consistency and apply using a steel trowel.   PRECAUTIONS & LIMITATIONS:- Minimum thickness to be maintained 10 mm. For higher thickness more than 25 mm, bond coat is recommended before applying second coat. Strictly maintain water powder ratio. Temperature of the mix should be maintained at approx. 30°C. During summer use cold water and in winters use warm water to regulate the temperature of the mix. Mechanical stirrer to be used for mixing, avoid hand mixing.
